What is my favorite Mary Cassatt painting? I like so many of them because she used my two favorite subjects--women, children in their intimate situations. I love the subjects on the beach or in boats. But perhaps this one invokes the most memories for me.

Oh, I love her paintings, too. I like that one you picked as your favorite because she captures so well the groggy just-woke-up-from-siesta look of a hot summer afternoon.
