Here are gardens that Lauren and Mike planted this weekend. Lauren has herbs, flowers(edible), tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, peppers and spinach planted. This is going to be one green-filled 8x8 spot soon:) Mike planted watermelon(his favorite fruit of all), peas and lettuce and carrots. He wanted to plant corn and pumpkins. He told me the other day that he feels like he will be a farmer of some type when he is an adult:)

That is so cool---a great skill to acquire! It looks like it should grow well---good rich dark soil! I bet the fence is to keep the rabbits out!! Awesome! Grandma Jan
